Last August 21, 2011, the Company of St. Dominic (CSD) of the Archdiocese of Manila and its youth arm, the Rosarian Youth Movement (RYM), reported to Very Rev. Quirico T. I. The Eucharistic Celebration

The Prior Provincial celebrated the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass for the CSD and the RYM at the chapel at Bahay Dominiko within Sto. Domingo compound in Biak-na-Bato, Quezon City. The Mass, exclusive only for the CSD and the RYM, was very private and solemn.

The newly installed members of the RYM served as the readers. The Prior Provincial gave a lengthy yet very beautiful and profound homily based on the Gospel of St. Matthew (16:13-20). He said that faith comes from God because it is not revealed by flesh and blood but by the heavenly Father. He emphasized that faith must be received in humility and nurtured in a community of faith. The Prior Provincial exhorted the CSD to be a “community of faith” that lives and cultivates the faith received by its members from God through the Church.

After the Mass, the Prior Provincial blessed the cords for the Angelic Warfare of St. Thomas Aquinas. The Father Prior then invested the members of the RYM with the cords and formally enrolled them in the Angelic Warfare of St. Thomas Aquinas. The cords symbolize angelic chastity and purity which every member of the RYM must strive for and live up to.
